Hidden in Scotland's other geographical area, the Southern Uplands, is the Grey Mare's Tail; a waterfall that plunges 60 meters into the valley below.

The area is home to the Grey Mare's Tail Nature Reserve, where you can find wild goats, peregrine falcons and ospreys.

During the killing time of the 17th century , Covenanters hid here, leading to a legend about the Devil and the Grey Mare's Tail.

Follow my adventures as I travel through the landscapes and history of Scotland. I make quick, quirky and (hopefully) funny content about Scotland's past, people and scenery.

I look for the hidden stories, forgotten people and beautiful scenery of Scotland and try to find the funny in the darkness, obscurity and occasional absurdity of our history.
