Aria Full Interview
Ms.Aria is a registered early childhood educator , professional singer songwriter musician and owner of The Teeny Tinys children’s music and development. She performs with a Motown Tribute band playing lead as Diana Ross and Tammi Terrell with The Legends of Motown and The Big Sound as well as entertaining and performing as lead vocalist for weddings and corporate events around the world.
After living and performing overseas in Hong Kong for a year Aria made a firm decision to pursue her passion of music going on to perform in New York, Las Vegas and at Panama’s Jazz Festival as well as popular festivals in Toronto such as Manifesto, Afrofest and NXNE. She has been a youth facilitator creating songwriting workshops to boost self-esteem with YWCA, The Music Forever Club as well as working with Save The Children Canada sharing songs with messages of kindness, respect and advocating for children’s rights.
In 2018 Aria decided to fuse her experience as a youth facilitator and professional vocalist to create The Teeny Tinys sharing elements of music with children ages 3m-5 years as well as facilitating workshops for those 8-14 with a focus on building self-esteem. Her main inspiration is her belief in the connectivity power of music and its ability to empower and bring us together. In the words of Bob Marley “Let’s get together and feel alright.” She believes children are naturally wired to respond to music so why not use it to create a sense of belonging, nurture well being and provide spaces where sharing creativity and imagination is nurtured in a fun and challenging way.
