The First Noel--A Christmas Meditation
The First Noel is of French or English origin dating back to the 13th century. Originally derived from the Catholic "Miracle Plays" of the Middle Ages, it tells the story of Christmas from a biblical perspective beginning with the angelic announcement of the Savior's birth to the shepherds of Bethlehem. Our video is in keeping with the tradition of the "Miracle Plays" of old, in which the story of Christmas is told, not by actors and actresses, but through the beautiful medium of traditional artwork and song.
