The film tells the story of the final period in the life of poet Marina Tsvetaeva, and the circumstances that led to her tragic death. The author's narration is read by theater and film actor Rogvold Sukhoverko; poems, excerpts from Tsvetaeva's diaries, and letters are read by People's Artist of the RSFSR Alla #Demidova.
