Order Of Operations - FAST & EASY!
In today's video, we discuss solving order of operations - the order you need to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and exponents. All you have to do is remember the acronym PEMDAS. That stands for Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction, and tells you the order that these operations should be done.
Keep in mind that multiplication and division are equal in the sense that if you have both next to each other, then you should perform them from left to right. The same is true with addition and subtraction.
