Polygon - Easy & cheap transfer from BSC to Polygon (EvoDeFi Bridge for USDC)
Polygon is a Layer-2 solution on Ethereum blockchain. It has ultra-low transaction fees but the issue is how we transfer our token to Polygon, without paying the high Ethereum fees.
There are three ways:
The expensive way. Send Polygon tokens from Binance/Coinbase to a MetaMask wallet. Then use a bridge (https://wallet.matic.network/bridge/). In this way, you will pay two transactions in Ethereum blockchain.
Through Ascendex (ex BitMax) exchange. I have read that you can directly send Polygon tokens to Polygon network. With this way, you have to create account in Ascendex.
The versatile way. Most of users who are involved in Yield Farms, they are using Binance Smart Chain. This is the method that we will analyze.
Steps:
Connect to PancakeSwap (or another BSC DEX) and sell the tokens that you want for USDC.
Go to https://evodefi.com/bridge?token=USDC and transfer your USDC from BSC to Polygon. This keeps a 0,5% commission. IF YOU HAVE TRUST WALLET, IN “Enter address to send”, YOU SHOULD USE ANOTHER WALLET LIKE METAMASK. WE MENTION THIS AS TRUST WALLET DOESN’T SUPPORT POLYGON.
Go to and receive 0,001 MATIC for transaction fees.
Go to https://app.sushi.com/swap and exchange your USDC for other tokens.
