LYRICS:
Before the day breaks, with your first sigh escapes
Every night-tormenting shadow
Like a birdwing, flapping around the room
It’s looking for a way out in despair
When you are weary and when you’re all alone
The dawn will strip you down in no time
For it has jasmine and it has solitude
And it has sunlight and has liberty
On every new day there is an unsailed stream
At its end there lies a promise
Of what’s forgotten, of what has long been lost
Of everything that no one’s ever known of
Behind the mountains, behind what you can see
There will be a place just for you
Without a prison, without the evil eye
Without the night-tormenting shadows
