Teaching the good word to our furry neighbours.
I was out yesterday evening cleaning up by the water, when a couple of beavers began to harass me. At first, I didn't have my phone or most of my gear. I tried to yell at them to scare them away. I even raised two big sticks over my head in an attempt to look bigger. Eventually, I was forced to take action and teach these big bullies a lesson.
Beavers are the largest rodent in Canada, second largest in the world. They have been known to be extremely aggressive in defending their territory against perceived encroachment. They may attack humans when infected by rabies, and can also become disoriented during the daytime and attack out of fear. Beaver attacks can also be fatal for domestic animals such as dogs.
