When a couple remains together for one year and female females to conceive then doctor advise semen analysis of husband , if its normal then doctor evaluates female for medical causes, hormonal issues, fallopian tubes blockages and uterine anomalies amd egg size i.e Follicular traping that is done on 12th day of cycle.
The ideal size for a female egg to get pregnant is between 18–25 mm (1.8–2.5 cm) in diameter. If less than 1.8 cm then it's mean female needs treatment like ovulation induction drugs or Injections and if more than 2.5 cm then it's mean it's not an egg , it's Ovarian simple cyst and it's need treatment.
