Needed a break from studying so i put on a click and got a quick take, proceeding to get distracted for an hour doing post production lol.
The main thing that was interesting to me was that in post, I cranked the high end way up in the 15khz range, which really brought out those strums, plucks, and taps. It also brought out the white noise from my crappy mic, so I ran it through an AI noise reducer, which worked OK for the most part. There's still some choppyness from time to time but its sounds good.
Really what I learned from this is I need a better microphone, audio interface, and amp. I love my rumble 40, but it doesn't really bring out those trebles very well. At some point I want to get a cabinet with more precise EQ controls so that dialing in tones is a lot easier.
