Prepar3d v2 VS FSX Comparison Video #2
Here's a much better comparison video than the first one. In this video, scenery settings are at comparable values in both sims.
Things I've noticed so far about P3D v2. After some tweaking, it has generally higher framerates than FSX, as you can probably notice in the video. (If you watch in HD fullscreen, you can see the FPS of P3D in the upper left. Stays between 25-30 FPS, externally locked at 30. I think this is pretty good for a Captain Sim aircraft over FlyTampa scenery). But, once in a while, P3D encounters a short stutter, usually when panning view. Water in P3D is a huge framerate killer. So is Level of Detail Radius.
