Hypixel Bedwars: Which is better? Sharpness vs Protection with Math
Many, many people on hypixel don't know whether sharpness or protection is better in bedwars, and just pick one from guessing from personal experience or just what their friends do. In fact, I've seen many hypixel forum posts asking which diamond upgrade is better, with no clear side winning.
Today, I will calculate which one is better using math!
I will first calculate sharpness vs protection, and then sharpness + protection 1 vs protection 2. I will use three scenarios: leather armor and a wood sword, iron armor and a stone sword, and diamond armor and a diamond sword.
