Extinction was later made into a Willard Wyler film, so it should be included under Infinite Warfare Zombies.
An Infinity Ward developer confirmed that Infinite Warfare is not connected to Modern Warfare. Additionally, all references to older games were just meant to be easter eggs, so Ghosts was likely never intended to be connected. Although I’d argue that the RPR Evo constitutes more than just an easter egg, but the Ripper platform could just exist in multiple timelines.
