a super quick shootout between the budget friendly Rode Videomic NTG ($250) and the film industry standard, the Sennheiser MKH416 ($1000).
I'm incredibly impressed with the Rode Videomic NTG and it will remain in my camera bag for any type of quick and easy don't even have to think about it great quality audio.
