Can Poppy Playtime scare a grown man?
As this week passed and i'm getting closer to my weekly stream I found myself asking "what do I want to play?" I honestly hadn't come up with any new exciting games I hadn't played that I felt like investing a bunch of time in. My Doom stream was great and I would definitely like to do more content on retro games. However, I really just want to play for the love of gaming. So I did what any reasonable 36 year old with kids would do. I asked my son what he thought I should play. He paused very briefly and then replied. "Poppy Playtime." "what in the hell is Poppy playtime" I thought. I proceeded to be informed about things like "mascot horror" and a brief explanation of the game. I followed that up with a google search and learn a little of the premise of the game. It seemed to me that rather than descriptions of the game I found a lot of people arguing about two thing. Is this game appropriate for kids? and many people accusing it of being a "content farm." In light of this wonderful opportunity being placed in my path, this weeks show we will be playing Poppy playtime chapters 1 & 2 (if time allows). I will be giving my thoughts on the game and seeing what the audience thinks as well. Streaming this Saturday February 7th at 7:00pm MST. Hope to see you there to watch me get scared .
