How to draw with colored pencils. It's so simple! But not everyone knows one little secret that can make drawing with colored pencils smoother and faster. And that's exactly what today's art tips will be about. This technique (as far as I know) originates from the USSR. My old art teacher showed it to me. This method allows you to super-softly smudge colored pencil drawings. It looks like real magic – a grainy drawing transforms right before your eyes into a smooth and more realistic one. And the secret is actually very simple. You need to smudge colored pencils on damp paper, not wet paper. Few people know that colored pencils can also smudge. But not like watercolors, where everything flows. Just a little bit. Our teacher showed us that this can be done with alcohol or vodka. But in reality, there are more interesting liquids.
