Apollo50 DC Show (Better Quality)
Last year I uploaded a video that was rather unconventional for this channel, which is obviously dedicated towards another passion of mine- electronic music.
But space travel is also a huge passion of mine, and one of my quarantine projects was to re-compile some of the footage I'd gathered of this amazing show, performed by 59 Productions, in my home city of Washington DC.
I was able to splice in another camera angle that I'd recorded on the previous night for the more poignant moments, and I was also able to acquire a copy of the official audio stream, which is vastly superior to what I was able to pick up with my own microphone. I did, however, splice in the audio of the crowd reactions that I recorded myself, to give the video a better sense of actually being there.
This version of the video took quite a lot of work and I am very proud of it. I hope you enjoy it on this 51st anniversary of humankind's first moon landing!
