Join us as we explore one of Europe’s most beautiful historic cities, walking through its cobblestone streets, medieval gates, and charming squares, discovering why Kraków is known as the cultural heart of Poland and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
🏰 This KRAKOW walk begins at Jan Matejko Square, home to the Grunwald Monument, and continues through the Krakow Barbakan, one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval fortifications. From there, we stroll past Plac Św. Ducha, soaking in the local atmosphere before entering Floriańska Street, the city’s most famous shopping and cultural avenue.
🚶♂️ We’ll arrive at the iconic Rynek Główny (Main Market Square), the largest medieval square in Europe, surrounded by landmarks like the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) and St. Mary’s Basilica, where the sound of the Hejnal Mariacki echoes through the air.
🌇 Our walk continues toward Plac Szczepański, a quieter artistic corner of the city, before heading down Grodzka Street, lined with charming cafés and historical churches, leading us to the magnificent Wawel Royal Castle, once the residence of Polish kings and queens.
🌊 Finally, we end this Kraków walking tour with beautiful views of the Vistula River, where the city’s history meets peaceful nature.
