Hà Nội - Part 2
We started our day visiting Ba Đình square and Hồ Chí Minh Mausoleum to witness the flag raising ceremony. But we were a bit late!
Chien finally had the first cup of true Vietnamese coffee since we came back to Việt Nam.
Next we visited the Grand Cathedral and had the pork cartilage porridge for breakfast.
We went on the city hop-on hop-off bus for a quick tour around Hà Nội. But in our opinion we would recommend this bus to travel around the city and visit different attractions.
We had Bún chả 74 Hàng Quạt for lunch - another must-have dish in Hà Nội.
Natalie then spent the rest of the day on bed as her stomach went on strike after so much food :))
Chien walked to Đồng Xuân market to buy pork porridge, again! But a much better version.
On our last day in Hà Nội we visited the Temple of Literature (Văn Miếu Quốc Tử Giám) then had Phở Thìn for lunch.
Together with Phở 10 Lý Quốc Sư, Phở Thìn is a local delicacy that is worth a visit.
Our flight was after midnight so we needed something to make us full longer for dinner. We thought sticky rice would help! So we came to Xôi Yến.
Finally our Hà Nội trip came to an end.
We had a memorable experience in Hà Nội.
