How to Disable Windows Updates and Increase Update Pause Times in Windows 10
As you probably know, Windows will update itself when it wants to and actually reboot your computer whether you like it or not. Sure you can pause the updates and set your active hours but you still can't stop Windows from updating itself completely. There is a free app you can download from GitHub that will let you disable Windows update completely and also increase the amount of time that you can pause the updates for. There is also a section to disable the various WindowsOrchestrator tasks and remove (debloat) many of the built in Windows apps. I have not tried this for Windows 11 but there is a chance it might work there as well.
If this doesn't work, then you can also pause Windows updates for up to 20 years if needed.
