This Video Isn't Real
Soon anyone will be able to make videos of anyone else doing anything.
It's already happened with text, audio, and images. Videos are next.
We need a better way to authenticate real videos from deepfakes.
Imagine the chaos when deepfakes outnumber legitimate videos 5 to 1.
The best way to solve this is via the blockchain and this could start by enabling blockchain-verified posts signed by official wallets--especially as we enter the election season next year.
But beyond all of that, we need sensible crypto legislation.
The blockchain is an incredible technology with staggering use cases that most don't understand.
So let's make a point to fix this by standing together and showing the world why this is needed RIGHT NOW.
