Adder - Exploration Build Guide - Elite Dangerous
Greetings Commanders,
This is one of my favourite ships and I highly recommend it for explorers new to the game. I have fond memories myself using this ship back when I started :)
The Adder is a great choice, as it is cheap, has decent enough internals for exploration, and when engineered a little will give us just over a 40 LY range!
You will only need two Engineers unlocked to achieve this actual build, they are Felicity Farseer and The Dweller :)
For the Pre-engineered 'Detailed Surface Scanner' in the video, you will need to find a Human Technology Broker (there is one at Solo Orbiter in the Altair system).
When you get there, you will need these materials to unlock it,
Mechanical Scrap - 26
Germanium - 22
Mechanical Components - 28
Niobium - 24
If you don't want to do this, then just engineer a D.S.S yourself to Grade 3 with Felicity Farseer :)
