Sony a6700 Freezing or Unresponsive? Firmware update 1.01?

I haven't ordered my Sony a6700 yet, and now I'm hearing of issues with the camera freezing and becoming unresponsive. Victor Laforteza recently made a video revealing that the update to firmware 1.01 fixed his overheating issue in 4K 24 fps. Can anyone tell me if this update has fixed the freezing issue in their a6700? Thanks!
