The family of an eighth-grade boy has filed a lawsuit after he fractured three vertebrae in his neck while being attacked by another student.
The incident happened April 28 at New Renaissance Middle School in Miramar.
According to the Law Offices of Adam Baron, Taishawn Yee was picked up and thrown to the floor by another student in the hallway.
