This is a teaser trailer for "BELLY" a feature length documentary by Full Tilt Boogie L.L.C www.ftbproductions.com. BELLY examines the lives of several dancers located in America, including Amy and Shelly of Unmata from Sacramento, Delilah from Seattle, Mahisha of Santa Fe, Samira Il Naia of Boise, Jamileh and Calypso of Midnight Mirage from Salt Lake City, and Jenna and Christina of Shimmy Shakti from Twin Falls, Through this process BELLY explores the multi faceted lives of these women; mothers, spouses, professionals, and community members, and the effect that belly dancing has had on their hopes, dreams, expectations, and the outcome of their lives as lived through their dance. Through this tapestry of personal experience BELLY also tells the story of middle-Eastern dance and it's integration into American culture.
"BELLY" is currently in post production and should be complete by the fall of 2007.
