I started jumping rope when I turned 50. (Now I'm 51). The first 6 months was spent mastering collisions with the rope - in the face, the back of my head, and with the ankles. Then one day - 'click' - it all came together. A man at the health club approached me and said, "I think you finally found your rhythm!"
This is a cardio jump rope workout played to Stevie Wonder's "Do I Do". Great musical rhythms like those found in this song inspire me to exercise... and the time flies. The song track is a little out of sync with the video, but it's very close. (This is the same track I am listening to on my MP3 headset). Notice the health club workers who enter the court in the background of the video. They're glued to their cell phones instead of doing their assigned jobs. They picked that wall to stand against because the security cameras can't see them from that position - how lazy!
