Okay, so… where do I even start? I’ve loved this series for as long as I can remember. I first picked up the first book just to have something to read on a family trip. My family went to Hot Springs every summer when I was a kid, and the way Belly talks about Cousins, that’s exactly how I’ve always felt about Hot Springs.
That summer, I spent hours sitting on the dock with my feet in the water, completely lost in the book, falling in love with these characters. Belly and Conrad have always been my favorite book couple.
Way back when, I even made fancast videos for them on this channel, and Jenny Han actually shouted out one of them on her website blog. They’re private now because… yeah, they were pretty terrible 😂
I think part of the reason I never made a proper vid for them is because I didn’t think I could do them justice. But after this last episode, especially getting Conrad’s POV, I just couldn’t resist anymore. I had to finally make something to show how much this series means to me.
