Do you know why your thread sometimes nests when you start sewing? A lot of people don’t know what causes this. There are a bunch of reasons, and here are 6 of the most common ones!
🪺 You overwound your bobbin
🪺 You’re using the wrong bobbin (buy one for your particular machine)
🪺 Your bobbin thread tail got sucked underneath (be sure to hold onto it!)
🪺 Your bobbin thread tail STILL gets sucked underneath (use a “thread bunny” to jump from a scrap of fabric to your main fabric)
🪺 You missed the take-up lever when threading your machine
🪺 You forgot to put you presser foot down when you started sewing
