My Fear of Vulnerability
Looking back, I used to think perfection was the key to success in the audition room. I wanted to show up polished and as the "perfect" version of myself (hello 2012 jewel tones and character shoes!). But what I didn’t realize then was how much I was holding back. Vulnerability, authenticity—that’s what resonates with people.
I wish I could go back and tell my younger self that being real is way more powerful than being perfect. If only I knew then what I know now…
