Welcome to Episode 8 of LORDS OF THE FALLEN and the final episode of my playthough. It doesn't happen too often that I bow out of a playthrough, but Lords of the Fallen is a difficult game. I believe there are very talented content creators out there that do stellar work with Souls-likes. Admittedly, I don't think I'm one of them. I love these game because of the mystery, the world design, and things off the beaten path. Therefore, I typically have the most fun when I can play these games with a guide. I get anxious when I'm not making progress (especially when streaming). I've reached the point where I've hit a roadblock, so it's time for me to step away from this playthrough and go enjoy the game the way I've enjoyed other soulslikes in the past.

Lords of the Fallen is a Dark Fantasy Action-RPG where you play as one of the fabled Dark Crusaders on a quest to overthrow Adyr, the Demon God. You'll explore a vast, interconnected world while traversing both the living realm and the nightmarish realm of the dead. You're free to customize your characters looks AND stats as you work to master challenging tactical action combat.
I was one of the few supporters of the original Lords of the Fallen from 2014. I always felt like it was really close to pulling off something special but had a certain something missing. When the soft-reboot was announced, I LOVED what I saw from the trailers. The darker mood, the horrors shown, and the twisted landscapes firmly placed this on my "MUST PLAY" list.
