For the better part of three quarters the Lakers kept Blake Griffin under wraps. Then, the Clipper rookie unleashed the BEAST MODE on the Lake Show. Griffin's streak of 20 and 10 games game to an end but just barely. By game's end, Blake beasted the Purple and Gold to the tune of 18 and 15 after collecting three fouls and scoring just 2 points in the first half.
After Foye's free throw went in the hoop, Odom grasped Griffin's jersey and swung him, and the two stared each other down. Clippers point guard Baron Davis raced into the scrum to separate the two combatants, leading Odom to give Davis a slight shove in return, which led to more jawing. Lakers forward Ron Artest then entered the fray, attempting to extricate Odom from the group from behind, to no avail. That led Artest to swing his arms out a bit in the general direction of Foye. Eventually, the referees were able to separate the two teams and complete the game's final six seconds.
The end result was Lamar 'Kardashian' Odom allowing the Man Beast Griffin to get so far under his skin that a skirmish ensued. After the dust settled, Lamar Odom, Ron Artest, Blake Griffin and Baron Davis had all been ejected.
Kobe Bryant summed it up with one line by saying Griffin "PUNKED US".
