Online forum: Power to the People - defining the parameters of shared responsibility
Communities expect agencies and government to act in a coordinated manner before, during and after fire events.This forum offers an understanding of how fire risk is incorporated into legislative frameworks and policy and planning processes.
The forum covers three topics of research produced by the Bushfire CRC: sharing responsibility, legal and policy, and urban and regional planning systems.
Presenters include Dr Blythe McLennan, Dr Michael Eburn, Prof Barbara Norman, and Lead End User Mick Ayre.
