PESONA BUKIT DAMAR | Campground with Super Complete Facilities
Pesona Bukit Damar Camping Ground is located at Jalan Raya Puncak KM. 77, Jalan Sirnagalih V, Jl. Cipendawa No. 92, Megamendung District, Bogor Regency, West Java 16770.
To get there, it's best to follow the Waze app's directions. If you follow Google Maps, you'll be directed via Jalan Prabowo-Cisadon.
It's best not to take Jalan Prabowo-Cisadon, as this road is more suitable for off-road vehicles. If you follow Waze, you'll be directed via Sumarecon, Bogor.
There are two types of camping here: Glamping (Lux Camp By Horison), where you can enjoy nature while still enjoying a comfortable rest. Typically, with glamping, you'll sleep in a building designed to feel like you're in a tent.
The second option is regular camping, where you'll spend the night in a tent made of polyester, canvas, or nylon.
For camping, Bukit Damar Campground has four areas: A, B, C, and D.
For those staying overnight in tents, there's also the option of independent camping, bringing your own tent, or renting one provided by Bukit Damar. Independent camping is, of course, much cheaper than renting a tent here.
The facilities at Pesona Bukit Damar are quite complete.
There's electricity, water, bathrooms, a prayer room, a cafe, and even a swimming pool.
Bukit Damar is arguably the most well-equipped campground.
If you're looking for hiking, you can also hike to Puncak Langit, which is also a camping ground, but unfortunately, it seems under-maintained. The trees here are denser and the atmosphere cooler. For a longer hike, you can also hike to Pondok Pemburu Cisadon.
