American Firepower | IOWA Class Battleships | Tribute
A tribute to the greatest battleships who served in the US Navy.
Four ships equiped with nine (3x3) 16 inch guns were built between 1940 and 1944. They fought in World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War and Gulf War. They now serve as museum ships for a well-deserved retirement.
The four ships of this class were :
-USS Iowa (BB-61)
-USS New Jersey (BB-62)
-USS Missouri (BB-63)
-USS Wisconsin (BB-64)
