Update: even though I make the unfounded claim about working in chromatics - “there’s really no way to practice this” - I’ve changed my mind. That simply isn’t true. There is, and it’s called jazz. It’s the art/science of connecting chord changes with passing tones... bebop scales are only one useful way to practice this. It can certainly help crafting good solos in any genre including this one.

I’ve been studying jazz for the duration of this pandemic and it’s starting to stick. Will likely do a whole new video on this topic soon.
