2 Quick Woodworking Tips
I captured these two tips I was using while drilling holes into some floor mounted trim pieces.
1. Circles have rotational symmetry. There is no real need to square up the board to a reference surface when cutting a circular hole.
2. The balance point of a board is the same as its center point. No need to get a tape measure and measure each board! This is especially useful when the boards are different lengths.
