Prosectra: Street Wise
The PROSECTRA STREET WISE program will teach teens how to de-escalate confrontations with bullies using verbal assertiveness through age appropriate role playing and never to initiate any physical aggression. Teens will learn how to protect personal boundaries, control distance and how to be a helpful bystander.
If physically attacked by a bully, teens will learn specialized techniques to non-violently neutralize the threat and gain control of the situation until help arrives. Teens will learn techniques for defending against attacks from the front, from the rear, by more than one bully and the critical physical and psychological techniques that will enable them to escape from a much larger and stronger bully who has pinned them to the ground.
