Road Trip Discoveries: Gravesite of Bo Diddley in Florida?
Bo Diddley was born in McComb, Mississippi, as Ellas Otha Bates on 12/30/1928. We wondered why he was buried in Florida and found: Bo Diddley died on June 2, 2008, of heart failure at his home in Archer, Florida at the age of 79. Archer is only 10 miles from his grave.
