About the presenter:
Sarah graduated with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Building Surveying from Dundalk Institute of Technology in 2012. She joined a private building surveying practice where she spent just under 5 years as a Building Surveyor. It was within this role she found her passion for Fire Safety within Buildings.
She joined Dublin Fire Brigade in 2018 as an Assistance Fire Prevention Officer where she quickly excelled within the Prevention section and was appointed as an Executive Fire Prevention Officer within the year. Sarah has brought a vast amount of skills and knowledge to the Fire Brigade since her appointment as Executive Fire Prevention Officer. While carrying out her normal duties within one of the busiest districts within the Fire Prevention Section she undertook a P.Grad Dip in Fire Safety Practice in Trinity College in 2019-2020. Sarah has also lead numerous in house training programmes and assists with the coordination of Dublin Fire Brigades Community Fire Safety Section.
