This time we're back with our 2010 Vauxhall (Opel in Europe) Corsa with yet another coolant issue. This time it's the coolant flange that sits at the right hand side of the engine (towards the battery). Many people think this holds the thermostat (it does in some models) but in this 1.2 Petrol it just contains a second coolant temperature sensor and acts as a manifold for the water channels from the engine and to the heater matrix, the radiator and to the expansion bottle.
In this video I'm explaining the replacement process, and also the issue with the replacement of the top hose clip that goes back to the expansion bottle.
The two parts I replaced were the top coolant tank hose: 13249353
The coolant flange itself which has part numbers: 1338022 1338487 25192985 55562048
