A Guide to Buying, Using, and Maintaining Swimming Goggles
-If your goal is to use them in an important pool competition, buy racing goggles. Otherwise, stay away from these models. -If you are going to use olive oil, use very little. -I haven't checked which of the brands I mentioned are boycott products and which are not. If you are boycotting the Israeli government and Zionists, you can check that yourself.
-More than 50 people have told me their goggles leaked water. Except for cheap brands, I haven't encountered such a problem myself when wearing goggles that were said to leak water. -Whether it's training or a competition, always keep a spare pair of goggles in your bag. Don't let the straps accidentally break, turning your training or competition into a nightmare. In an open water race I participated in, a woman's goggles broke off in her hand just before the race started. Despite the large organization, there was nowhere to sell racing goggles. Nobody had brought spare goggles either. While the woman was asking around, I called her over and lent her my spare goggles from my bag.
