2/3 Spartacus & Phrygia adagio - Korsuntsev & Kondaurova
Adagio of Spartacus and Phrygia from Leonid Yakobson version of ballet. Though I consider Kondaurova the best Phrygia in Mariinsky, my favourite Phrygia in this adagio is Maya Plisetskaya. You could watch her brilliant performance here:
• Leonid Yacobson - Spartacus
In this scene Phrygia bids farewell to Spartacus before decisive battle.
Phrygia - Ekaterina Kondaurova
Spartacus - Danila Korsuntsev
