Make It Clap - (Doja Cat Middle Eastern/Hip Hop Type Beat) (By Raheem D)
'Make It Clap' is my first original production loosely inspired by late 90s early 00's Hip Hop beats produced by the likes of Timbaland and Darkchild. Initially, I started a tutorial on Skillshare for creating Lo-Fi music, but as I was following the tutorial I got bored with the Lo-Fi sound and decided to use the material given to create something different. I started with the piano sample and went from there. It turned into a pseudo Middle Eastern style Hip Hop beat that was also inspired by my 'Started To Make It Hot' mashup which used the 'Make It Hot' instrumental from Missy Elliott. As I was producing, the music video came into my head and I could imagine three female rappers such as Iggy Azalea, Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj with an Ancient Egyptian look with a dance break similar to how videos were back in the early 00's. I wouldn't say this is a full Middle Eastern sound as it uses Lo-Fi elements. I hope you enjoy this production, let me know your thoughts in the comments as it'll help me with future productions.
