1. When you hit a great shot into the corner, move forward into no-man’s land and split step
2. If you’re going to run around your backhand to hit a forehand, you NEED to hit a better shot than you would’ve if you hit a backhand
3. When close to the net and you most likely won’t end the point with your shot, hit the ball down the line to keep your opponent in front of you
4. Set your racket at the height of contact so you don’t chop your volleys
