Jumu open - the new category at "Jugend musiziert"
In mid-September, the WESPE competition, the special prize of "Jugend musiziert" (Youth Makes Music), will take place again. This prize encourages the exploration of previously unperformed, lesser-known, or particularly challenging works. And in 2021, a regular national competition is expected to return. A new and very special category, "Jumu open," will be introduced for the first time. This short article, featuring some of the pioneers in this category, explains what it's all about.
