Fallout 4 Cursed PowerArmor Cure
Today I show you how to fix a bugged out Power Armor!
Then I spend a while in awe, because I discovered this on my own. I used a known fix but altered it for the sake of my cursed Power Armor.
Before this, the armor could not be used or destroyed(see previous video on that). One of my companions from a mod managed to break the armor while doing an animation, where they did not properly exit the power armor. I was able to use console commands to fix my self, but not the Power armor. The fix provided by wiki worked on another power armnor that I my self bugged out, but not this armor. So I came with a brilliant idea.
This fix is possible on xbox aswell, assuming you can get a companion to enter the armor and get out, then make them disappear. I used cheat module, but maybe there are similar mods on Bethesda? or just use a pacified target as sacrifice! duh lol, sometimes I overcomplicate stuff...
Step1- order companion into and out of power armor
Step2- you get in and out power armor
Step3- open workshop storage, place all equipped items into it.
Step4- get in and then out of power armor
Step5- open pip-boy while outside of power Armor
HIGHLY IMPORTANT!
DO NOT open pip-boy once you enter the power armor, just leave it alone until you get to Step 5! Otherwise, you now need to start from step 2, maybe 1..I dont know, I learned to avoid doing that before finding the fix.
That said, I'm pretty sure I bugged vertibirds for my self last night. no clue how to let vertibirds show me missions and compass while using the gun again....yet.
