Here is my official submission for the 2024 #vurbeditcontest
@YamahaMotorUSA, @vurbmoto
A unique and creative take on the rook, Daxton Bennick. I worked hard on this piece for countless hours! I am so thankful for this sweet opportunity from Vurb! I learned so much from the months of editing. Once again, thank you Vurb, and Yamaha.
I'm a 15-year-old boy from Denver, Colorado who LOVES filming.
"I started doing edits back in 2020. I began with an edit of all pictures of Hudson Deegan, then transitioned to filming my own content. I got so into videography/editing that I bought a Lumix fz300 in 2021. Later, in 2022 I applied for the On-Track-School Loretta Lynn's apprenticeship program. When I found out I got the gig, I was ecstatic. I told my Mom and Dad and I bought a A7SIII. I learned so much at Loretta Lynn's and got Gavin Towers to repost my video. That gave me some motivation. I kept improving and in May of 2023 I went to the Denver supercross. I captured a bunch of riders but mainly focused on Levi Kitchen. When I posted the edit of him, I got a DM shortly after from Levi. I sent him the edit and he posted it! I was SOOOO excited. Everyone seemed to have loved that edit. I made Levi another edit at Thunder Valley 2023. Which he also posted. Now with the cold, snowy winter in Colorado, the Vurb Edit Contest came at a perfect time. I started editing this video the day the contest was announced. While typing this, it's 1am on March 17th. I had SO MUCH FUN working on this and am excited to see who wins."
Thanks, Cquatty
