This is a tower that I've wanted to beat for ages ever since I first heard about it. I had never seen or played the tower at all, until around a week ago when I went through the extremely tedious task of all-jumping it with blocker, and I realised it's not nearly as hard as i thought - just extremely long, and extremely punishing at times.
Fast forward a few days and I started up a stream to see where I could get, reaching the end of floor 49 on my first attempt. Was pretty happy with this, as I failed a major chokepoint of the tower. I streamed again the next day and made it to 51, failing what was (at the time) the hardest jump of the tower by a mile. Was still quite sad because I thought I found a 100% consistent strat but apparently not. Gave it another shot the next day and failed THE SAME JUMP so i was really mad and said I was gonna quit the tower, as it takes so long to get there and I had failed the same jump twice now.
The same day Blocker convinced me to do another run, so I started up a stream and passed 51, and made it all the way to Floor 86, fluking 34 floors. At this point, I knew the tower was extremely doable, and I would be able to first try it after that fail. And that's exactly what happened. Fast forward to the next day and I wake up and hop on a run, and beat the tower first try.
I can't say I'm too surprised that I beat this so easily, as there's genuinely nothing too tricky in the tower for me except for the thin pink wraps on 49, which I only even failed once throughout my time on the tower. Besides that, there really wasn't that much else which I could point out as a notable chokepoint.
