Hadron Collider Physics Summer School (HASCO) 2022
The main objectives of the hadron collider physics summer school (HASCO) are introductory topics in elementary particle physics, in particular in hadron collider physics as relevant for research at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
This includes lectures and tutorials on theoretical foundations of the Standard Model of elementary particle physics as well as experimental techniques to test it such as machine learning. A particular focus was placed on the physics of the Higgs boson, which was discovered 10 years ago by the ATLAS and the CMS collaboration.
Approximately 62 students and 10 lecturers from Europe, America, and Asia attended the school from 24.7.-1.8.2022 with lectures and tutorials
