We have invested nearly 200 million dollars in the past two decades to build the most advanced and precise software analysis engine . Something I'd like to call the MRI for Software, because its pretty much like the MRI machines in the medicine that bring unprecedent visibility, but applied to software.
CAST technology scans the software inner structure, it understands the software totally semantically. Technically speaking, it reverse engineers database structures, frameworks, the overall architectures, the transaction from the user entry point up to the data access.
It analyzes and understands all the thousands of components and their interdependencies and when I'm talking about components it's not only regular components but also open source components that may come from the outside world.
From the analysis process, three main outputs - the first output of the analysis process it's what we call a Blueprint which is a finer grained hi-resolution image of what's going on in the software.
The second output is a set of health grades about the software which includes resiliency, security, efficiency and maintainability.
The third output is the ability to identify very hard to find and specific flows that may generate data Integrity issues, corruptions outages and other software catastrophes.
All these insights about software inner structures make up Software Intelligence, which in essence empowers the next generation of digital leaders from the developers up to the CEO the same way as the MRI for medicine has been a game-changer in evolution.
We strongly believe that Software Intelligence which is the output of the MRI for software is actually a game changer and so I joined the journey.
